I used a "paper" wall to show that Wuthering Heights was a vintage/classic love story. I also used "gothic" borders to enhance the sense of darkness and death. Heathcliff is seen as a sin or omen that was brought to the Earnshaw's house. Since then Heathcliff has "brought" upsets and deaths upon the family. Society fails to acknoledge that Heathcliff cannot be put to blame for any misfortune; yet they still seek him as the devil's child. With all this pain, the hearts at Wuthering Heights are broken. This is where I connected the song broken by Secondhand Serenade to show that although hearts are shattered, there is still hope and love in the world; we just have to accept eachother first.
